A Team of Dedicated Professionals

Meet Our Staff

Mark W. Watson

Mark has been a lawyer representing injured people since 1994. His journey to becoming a lawyer started in Oregon where he was born and raised. He attended Southern Oregon University right after high school. After four years of college, he graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in economics and business administration.

After graduation, Mark moved to the Puget Sound region. Allstate Insurance Company immediately hired him as a claims adjuster. Mark accelerated rapidly in the personal injury claims profession and underwent extensive training to learn how insurance companies dealt with injured victims. Mark then decided he would rather HELP injured people instead of represent a mega insurance company against injured people. So in 1991, he left Allstate to begin law school.

Mark graduated law school with honors in 1994. While in law school, he earned awards for being the top student in legal writing and trial practice. As one of the top students in law school, he was invited to join the prestigious Law Review, where he eventually was named business editor. Despite the time and devotion needed to be a top law student, Mark also worked as a legal intern for two different law firms while in law school. What he learned in those “real world” law firms nicely supplemented the education he was getting in law school, allowing him to gain experience both practically and academically.

After passing the bar examination, Mark worked for several years as an associate lawyer at a personal injury firm in Tacoma. He later opened his own law firm in 1997, where he spent the next 13 years with an office in the Fife/Milton area. In 2010, Mark purchased a building in a convenient Tacoma location that currently houses the law firm.

Mr. Watson is also licensed to practice law in Missouri.  In fact, he opened an office in El Dorado Springs, Missouri in 2023, where he also practices law in a variety of different legal fields.

In addition to representing injured and wrongfully terminated people since 1994, Mark has an active personal life. He and his wife, Tammy, along with their children and grandchildren, raise and show beef cattle.   Mark and his family also are active in their church, where Mark regularly teaches the Bible.

Mark is familiar with hard work and what it takes to navigate our legal system. Mark along with his staff will be happy to answer all of your questions and looks forward to getting to know you while you get to know him and his wonderful staff.
